Competitions 2012
The radio station Controradio, the cultural association GRAV, the Luigi Pecci Center of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with the Region Tuscany and City of Prato, announce the VIDEOMINUTO 2012 selection of video works with a maximum duration of one minute . The selection is open to all works, original, synthetical, quick, totally free in form and language and without any form of censorship.
There will be two possibilites for participants of Videominuto 2012:

Competition "1.000 EUR for 1 Minute"
- without any given subject)
First Prize: EUR 1,000

Competition "Italy: Love it or leave it"
- competition inspired by the homonymous documentary feature film made by Luca Ragazzi and Gustav Hofer.
First Prize: EUR 1,000 EUR or be our guest travelling to one of our partner festivals.

The DEADLINE for video entry is Friday 13th of July 2012!
ATTENTION: For those who send all requested material ONLINE using our FTP server the deadline has been extended to July 20th!
The works entered for consideration will be selected by a jury to define the participation list. Screening of the selected works will take place during the "Night of the Minutes" at the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Arts in Prato, Italy, in September 2012.
For uncut television broadcasts or DVD publication (but not necessarily to partecipate in our competitions) the video works must contain original music. Videominuto will post on their web site a series of original musical soundtracks for participant use free of charge.
Who wants to partecipate only in our competitions is free to use also non original music.
